About Us

Our Story

We are located in the beautiful Salt Lake Valley of Utah. The mountains are so close and the desert is close enough that it is easy to escape the city.

I feel super blessed to have found Noah (Harmony Mtn On The Mark DeGrenier). I was looking for a hunting type Standard Poodle and found Harmony Mountain Retrievers right here in Utah. It really felt like it was ‘meant to be’ as the Horsts’ of Harmony Mountain Retrievers and I got to know each other and decided to have Noah be part of my family. Noah has been a wonderful addition for us – he gets along wonderfully with our small dogs and cat.

Noah (Harmony Mtn de ) is from a diverse genetic background. When his testing was done with UC Davis he was unrelated to 86.5% of Standard Poodles tested. In fact his grandfather was a Russian poodle. Noah is an active dog who loves to go on hikes and spend time outdoors. He is always ready for another adventure. When we are inside he is pretty much glued to my side. He loves to do scent work (and is quite good at it) and we work regularly with a local trainer.
